The ski resort Pal Arinsal has reached an agreement with Andorra Telecom to continue with the trend of digital transformation and improve all the systems related to the connectivity of the resort.
In the press conference, held this Monday at the Caubella de Pal, Agusín García, head of Projects and Systems; Josep Marticella, general manager Vallnord-Pal Arinsal, and José Vilana, director of marketing and business sales. All three have agreed that the main objective of this agreement lies in "consolidating a communication network that is more stable and robust in order to offer a service that allows the improvement of customer service."
A novelty of the new Wi-Fi network is that it will be permanent, that is, the customer will only have to fill out a form the first time he tries to access. Once this step is completed, the connection will not be lost at any time even if the different devices are in sleep mode. This factor "will represent a qualitative improvement in the user experience," Marticella said.
As for Andorra Telecom, this agreement will allow them to expand their personalized services strategy adapted to the requirements of the companies. Until now the Vallnord-Pal Arinsal resort had a business connection package consisting of two different and independent receiving antennas. The first one, aimed at internal needs, while the second was by external users.
With this new strategy, a unified, more stable and efficient, and much safer communication network for the team and customers will be achieved. This new infrastructure, as Marticella advanced, "will be operational for the next winter season. On November 30 I would like it to be operational."
